After three years spent living in London and traveling throughout Europe, Kate and Joe returned to the U.S. in 2013, ready to pursue their careers in New York City. Kate, feeling inspired by her travels and the culinary degree in her back pocket, was looking for a way to incorporate both into her dream job.
Asbury Park has always been a shore favorite for the couple, so when the opportunity to take over a successful, award-winning inn presented itself, they responded. Today they are thrilled to be the innkeepers at Asbury Park Inn.

Reservations & Policies

Cancellations: Because of our size, cancellations and booking modifications affect us significantly.
For a multiple night stay, a 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. For a one-night stay, the full room rate is due as a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The deposit can be applied to a future visit (subject to below restrictions/fees) if you cannot complete your reservation.
A change of dates (including shortening a reservation) will be permitted provided that we are notified 48 hours before check-in (subject to availability and minimum stay restrictions). There is a $50 fee for this change, regardless of the reason. Within 48 hours of check-in, a cancellation or shortened stay request will be charged in full per the original booking.
Travel Insurance: We understand that cancellations are often beyond your personal control. For this reason, we recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind. Asbury Park Inn will be happy to supply your travel insurance company with any needed documentation regarding our policy and your reservation.
Minimum Stay Requirements: Two night reservations are required on most weekends, holidays and throughout the peak summer season. If rooms are available we may make an exception to the minimum requirement. If you are interested in a one-night stay during the offseason, please call us at 732-740-4650 as you will not be able to complete the booking online.
Guest Responsibility: Lost keys will be charged a $20 fee per room key lost; lost beach passes will be charged a $75 fee per pass lost. Also, while accidents do happen, guests will be financially responsible for damage and/or messes due to gross negligence, whether it is reported or unreported. Repairs, replacements and/or extra cleaning fees will be charged to the credit card on file.
Pets: Asbury Park Inn welcomes well-behaved dogs and cats traveling with their owners in the Harbor Suite and the Carriage House. A $50 surcharge per pet will be applied at check out.
Additional guests: Nightly rates are based on two-person occupancy in each suite. Additional guests are subject to a $25 per person, per night surcharge to cover extra breakfasts, housekeeping and amenities. Surcharge applies to all guests aged 10 and over.
Parking: Parking is free and generally available on the street in front of the inn.
Housekeeping: Similar to many smaller B&Bs, we do not include daily housekeeping service. If you would like any housekeeping services (including fresh towels and sheets) during your stay, please let us know. We will be glad to provide any services as a courtesy upon request.
Tax: Nightly rates are subject to 14.875% government tax (Municipal Occupancy Tax – 3%, New Jersey Occupancy Fee – 5% & New Jersey Sales Tax – 6.875%).
Check-in / Check-out: Check-in time is 3:00pm; check-out time is 11:00am. If you plan on checking in after 8:00pm, please let us know in advance.
Late Check-out: If your suite is available and scheduling permits, we may allow a late check-out for a $50 fee. If a late check-out is granted, the suite must be vacated no later than 3:00pm.
